Works by Christian Lemmerz will be on show at Galleri Brandstrup’s booth at The Armory Show in New York from the 7th-10 of March, 2013.

Horsens Kunstmuseums samling byder på værker lavet af alskens materialer, med mange forskellige tematikker og i alle regnbuens farver.
Med ‘Den Hvide Udstilling’ bliver der mulighed for at opleve museet, som man aldrig har set det før: På museets lyse trægulve og hvide vægge viser vi nemlig en række værker, der har det til fælles, at de er helt eller næsten uden farve.
Værker udført i gips og marmorer oplagte i denne sammenhæng. Men ‘Den Hvide Udstilling’ byder også på værker, der meget vel kunne være fremstillet i farver – hvis det altså ikke var, fordi de hvide og lyse flader tilfører værkernes form, materiale eller bagvedliggende idé noget ganske særligt.
‘Den Hvide Udstilling’ byder på værker af blandt andre: Christian Lemmerz, Bjørn Nørgaard, Peter Neuchs, Michael Kvium, Sophia Kalkau og Pernille With Madsen.

If an artist and a professor of theoretical high-energy physics discussing reality as a concept, are they able to find a common denominator? The film shows the artist Christian Lemmerz and professor Holger Bech Nielsen challenge concept from their starting point.

Christian Lemmerz participates in the group show Alpha-Beta-Gamma at BKS Garage from the 1.-22. of September, 2012.

Here he will exhibit a new work in bronze.
